Christopher is a co-founder of Robertsbridge Group, now a part of global policy and advocacy consultancy Stonehaven. He remains a consultant to the company.
 
Christopher’s expertise is in developing sustainability strategies for companies, often in challenging sectors or circumstances; in engagement or mediation with activist NGOs and other stakeholders including investors; and in analysis, communications and crisis management.

He has worked around the world for businesses in emerging technologies, land use and agriculture, forestry, extractives, automotive, infrastructure, aviation and transportation, as well as for large consumer brands. 
 
In the UK he has spent over 30 years converting his small farm into a nature reserve, so has hands-on experience of biodiversity management and NBS in a temperate climate.
 
He has served as a trustee of Plantlife International and The Pond Conservation Trust (now the Fresh Water Trust) and as a non-executive director of several early-stage investment renewable energy businesses.
